Hi there, I'm India Conway. Welcome to my emerging practice as an artist within Perth Western Australia.

Currently I am working on a project that will be part of the Curtin Fine Art Graduate degree show. This body of work the first of India's Art to be exhibited. "Formations" a sculptural work, will play on the viewers perception and memory of site within the recreation of a non site.
This page just a sneak peak of the works and results that come together behind the scenes.

Collection Inspiration and Practice
In the Studio
Deconstructing the mould and revealing the form.
Tools of the trade - igneous rocks from Western Australia Peel region. .

My practice uses rocks as the primary tool for aesthetic, shape and surface of the forms I create. All the rocks sourced ethically, my practice having grown to consider the land and its rarities.
I have a fond care for print and text in any form. Some of these works are displayed within my portfolio.
